Zazzle

Affiliating Zazzle

by Casey on November 8, 2009

Zazzle is going through a period of instability with their API right now.  What does this mean to you the Zazzle affiliate?  Well, it means that you should focus on affiliating Cafepress.  I cannot, until Zazzle fixes their API, guarantee that a product detail page will show up or that your zazzle sidebar will show up.

This has been going on for over a month now and I had hoped that Zazzle would have been able to fix it by now.  Unfortunately they have yet to address the issue.

For now, move your zazzle sidebar into the Not Used section.  I strongly suggest that you stop adding net new zazzle products.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon.  I do apologize for the huge inconvenience that this is to you and am as frustrated as your are.

No new shops will be setup until this is addressed.  If you are opting out/closing shop until a later point in time please let  me know and I’ll keep your shop database, etc intact.

UPDATE:  Zazzle is actively working on the issue.  I will keep everyone up to date on their progress.

UPDATE 2:  Zazzle has states that they’ve fixed the bug and folks are seeing an improvement with their site.  Clear you cache and let me know if you see the error again.  Try your sidebars again as well.
